Pale golden yellow color. Ripe and concentrated yet still relatively dry and slightly underwhelming nose of exotic spices, some fresh golden apples, a little bit of beeswax and a hint of old tree bark. The wine is ripe, lively and somewhat concentrated on the palate with rich flavors of tangy saline minerality, tart lemony citrus fruits, some savory exotic spices, a little bit of apple peel bitterness, an oceanic hint of oyster shells and a touch of sweet white peach. Overall the wine doesn't feel young or primary, but neither does it feel particularly old or developed. Balanced acidity. The finish is ripe, long and bright with flavors of ripe citrus fruits, tart green apples, some waxy tones, a little bit of chalky mineral bitterness, a hint of salinity and a leesy touch of yeast.

A stylish, sophisticated and enjoyably mineral Pouilly-Fumé that feels surprisingly youthful for its age. That is not to say that the wine would feel particularly youthful, because it really doesn't, but I thought it would feel more developed than this. All in all, a very nice and stylish effort that most likely will continue to develop for many more years. Although drinking nicely right now, this can be left in a cellar. Recommended.
