Opened at a dinner with friends at Mani in São Paulo alonside a 2002 Smith Haut Lafite. Clearly shown as a still too young Pauillac - power, tannins and depth of fruit. Not yet settled so flavours are all intermixed, berries, wood, etc. Even though not from a great vintage (2002 was not either) this Lynh showed really that they are doing a great job even in lower vintages.

Day I Medium to full-bodied. Good fruit concentration and acidity. Not that evolved yet. Some tannins left. Opened up after 1/2-hour and showed very good and pure cassis fruit aromas. Can be drunk now but should ideally be kept another 2 years before opening. Good value at just 16 €!

12/01/21 to accompany a rack of lamb. Decanted for about an hour before hand--full-bodied, colour still red-black, not a lot of secondary nose developed yet, black-fruits, and quite elegant. Medium long finish. The next day, wine had opened up, softer in mouth.

Better than I'd expected. I last had this 2 1/2 years ago when it was harsh and tannic. Since then it has softened nicely and was a pleasure to drink. I don't have any more but would happily pick it up if I came across it again.
