  Magnum, good cellaring for all those years. still powerful, evolving and getting better during the evening.

  From a well cellared bottle. Perfect condition, beautiful color, no oxidation. Very aromatic with notes of cedar, ripe fruits and vanilla. Good mouthful, bell pepper and blackcurrant. Not very complex nor powerful, but very pleasant; good on its own or with food. Probably near peak, but will certainly keep for a few years, no signs of being over the hill.

  A real surprise. Showing stunningly well, perfect color, no oxidization. Very classic, wet gravel/cedar nose, lovely structure with fine tanins. No blockbuster, but a perfect example of mature mid-level claret and a great advert for aging unclassed Bordeaux. No idea of the provenance and had spent 2 years in my less than perfect store cupboard, but couldn't imagine a bottle in better condition.
