  Drank with bruschetta and braised short rib ravioli with bolognese at Monzu in San Diego. Food paired extremely well with this great Italian meal. Red cherries are abound in the aromatics as well as on the palate. Floral notes as well with silky tannins (no need to decant), some minerality,raspberries and light oak. Great Brunello di Montalcino!

  had as second course with Christmas dinner prime rib and all the fixings couldn't have made a better choice so happy I have 5 more bottles

  I think this is a stunning Brunello. It’s elegant and fragrant, offering sour red cherries, lavender, balsamic, and earthy stuff. While it’s really pretty it also displays a serious intensity. The pallet follows through with a more savory touch but with a similar offering to the aromatic profile. I could drink this all day.

  Easy to drink. Multiple layers - “elegant” in the parlance. It is an interesting and approachable wine. Need to try again.
