  • 8 hrs opening before 1st sip.
Still quite closed at first. Need another hour to open up.
Nose: Nice mint, dark cherry, musky, a bit vanilla
Palate: smooth tannin, a bit creamy, nice cherry, with edgy acidity. Tannin bite at the end. Long finish.
Still lively with years of life. Classic Bdm.

  • Medium-garnet colour. Beautiful nose of dried roses, sottobosco, currant, cherry, and strawberry. Medium-bodied, perfectly integrated tannins. Silky in the mouth, showing sottobosco, currant, strawberry, and hints of licorice. Moderate-long finish, ~35-40s, with red fruit and sottobosco notes. Lovely wine that is drinking at its peak. Another fantastic wine from my favourite Brunello producer.
