Bright, fresh, crisp, vibrant, lemon rinds, pomelo, spice, and flowers create the aromatics. The wine is juicy, lifted, long, and packed with sweet, ripe, and lively citrus that lingers on the palate. Drink from 2023-2037.

Interesting wine, and especially useful for pairing dishes that don't quite work with other varietals. That said, I have never had a bottle of this in any vintage that blew me away, or was even within hailing distance of a great white Burgundy. I would choose Haut Brion's red over white any day of the week.

It’s really quite lovely in a very, very low key. Easy to miss if your not paying attention. Modest, subtle, delicately fragrant. I detected spring flower but others found only grass or cat pee. A fine Sauvignon Blanc but far from dazzling.

Don’t drink this one too cold or you will miss all the nuances. Along with the grass and lime, you can find honeydew and red apple skin. Gentle and subtle. Adequate acidity. The light gold color it has when you first pour it deepens with air to a full medium gold. Rich in texture for the genre. Very nice but it won’t blow you away.

After yesterday’s oxidised bottle, decided to open another one. Again flawed, cauliflower and dusty old cellar with a little beeswax. The taste ain’t as bad as yesterday but not a pleasure either. Good this was my last bottle. They were all kept in a Liebherr winefridge at 13C. 2 years ago we had a 2001 that was just brilliant. I guess 2007 ain’t doing it. Or they were miskept the time before I acquired them.
