Commanderie de Bordeaux MN: First Growths at Demi (Demi, Mpls): Light gold color. Drank a glass over 40 minutes. Sem54%, SauvB46%. Wow, simply explosive, gorgeous tropical fruits, so fresh and bright, mandarin orange, passion fruit, mango, Meyer lemon, white flowers, sweet Meyer lemon panna cotta, Butter-cream, Chantilly cream, dry stones, incredible energy and intensity. Wow - a total stunner.

Nose: Showed guava, white flowers, white pepper, lemon verbena and some stone fruits.
Palate: Very well-rounded with acidity well integrated. Still showed plenty of fruit, including guava, apple pie, Meyers lemon, pear and some hints of honeyed lemon meringue and orange-vanilla cream, which stayed with you on the medium-long finish.
I am not a big Sauvignon Blanc fan, but I could easily drink this all day long! For my palate, not worth the current price, but I sure wouldn't turn an offer to open a bottle away! 96+ for me, and by far the best dry SB blend I have tasted to date! My WOTN!

Bordeaux and Sushi (Billy Sushi, Mpls, MN): Light gold color. Drank a glass plus over 2 hours. 56% SB, 46% Semillion. What a sheer delight to drink. There's a splendid nose of white peach, pear liqueur, tangerine, lemon confit, chamomile, white pepper, cedar dust and hint of jasmine. The palate is full bodied, yet lithe and vibrant, dancing fluidly over the tongue. The fruit is, I suspect, a slightly more subdued version of its younger days; now filled with lemon oil, orange peel, pear liqueur, lacquer, white peach, honeycomb and crushed rock minerality with a gleeful dose of white pepper and spice on the long, luxurious finish. Wonderful. 96+(+?)pt.

En-Primeur campaign for the 2021 vintage; 4/25/2022-4/29/2022 (Bordeaux): From magnum Medium minus intensity aromas of lemon, grass; a slightly herbaceous note, juicy and honeyed but with an almost saline underpin, less obviously citrus in the mouth and a touch of waxiness to the mid palate. Nom nom nom

Not a bottle I am likely to see often, the wine popped with honeysuckle, crisp lemon, waxy honey, flowers, thyme, white peach, orange and yellow citrus peel on the nose. Lush, opulent, and fresh, which is a difficult balance to achieve, the mouthcoating finish, with all its sweet, slightly honeyed, yellow and orange citrus, crushed stone, and vanilla hung on your palate for long after the wine left the glass.
