(Librandi Ciro Duca san Felice) #2; COLOR-light; NOSE-sweet & sour cherry juice; a smokey "lit match" component; TASTE-some nice weight; medium to full bodied; has a beef jerky component on the mid-palate; I really like the structure on the back-end; a little disjointed; I'd recommend this to people into Chianti Riserva's; a little rosemary action w/ sundried tomatoes on the mid-palate; some nice fertilizer/earthtones on the strong back-end; solid effort; good structure; a real wine that is a value driven solid effort; this is "Serviceable City"; GV-88+

Strawberries and cherries on the nose. Also some smoky/charcoaly herbal notes (such as cow parsley).
Medium bodied wine with good acidity and low tannins. Smooth and decent structure. Sweet strawberry and toffee notes. Slight meatiness and decent lenght.
According to the winery this should last for some years to come but I can't see that judging by this bottle. I think this is past it's prime.

Burned rubber, gooseberr and, almond on the nose
Marzipan, tannic and slightly bitter, light to medium body

This was a nice light wine with just enough umph. Translucent maroon color. On the palate it's fresh with some coarse tobacco flavors and a bit of strawberry. I think that I could easily think this was Rosé wine if I couldn't see its color. Somewhat short finish.
