  • lots of red cherry and red fruits like hawthorn at the beginning. The aroma is cool and mineral. After aeration, it's getting more and more tea, dry flower, dry leaves, smoke, grass, roasted leaves.
Looking for more acidity, tannin and concentration in this bottle. In addition it's not that clos de la roche.

  • From a European cellar, very high fill. Leafy, earthy, slight hue of dark fruit, stony, decently fresh. More vintage ripeness than acidity preserved, as the wine is slightly flat. Not a lot of structure/intensity on the palate either. Overall a good aged Burg but without the 80s Rousseau magic. 91-92
