  Boxing Day Tasting (Birch Road Cellar - Chicago IL): Single blind CdlR flight of Dujac 2010 & 2012, Rousseau 2012. Charming black and red cherry in an old school and less oaked manner with the emphasis on the lovely fruit that is both bright and ripe. Still firm. Others liked this more than I did,

  Single blind Dujac CdlR 10 | 12 | Rousseau 12 CdlR. Rather straightforward to pick out from the Dujac pair, which had distinct stem spice. The Rousseau showed more florals and almost purple fruit. Excellent concentration with suave, well-integrated structure. More ready to go than the Dujac 12, which still needs some time. Upside from here, but already in a good spot.

  Dîner de Noël des anciens C&S (Restaurant Bagatelle): Nez très charmeur qui pinotte, avec certains marqueur de la vendange entière. Belle texture aérienne, c’est fin et élégant, avec une finale pierreuse typique de son appellation, qui porte bien son nom. Très beau vin savoureux, d’une finesse exquise. 93-94 pts

  Noe mørkere uttrykk en Charmes, men passe sexy den røveren her også.
  I sammenligning mangler den litt av toppfrukten.
  Dyp nydelig frukt, stor konsentrasjon og en flott struktur.
  Mye nytelse nå - ingen hast.
  Balansert.
  Beholder kraften hele veien.
  Presis og lang finish med bestemte fine tanniner.
  Nydelig. 93-94p
