Lush and dense palate with dried apricots and honey, good acidity but intense sweet flavors. Long ending that lingers for quite a while. 2001 definitely a stunner - and this bottle showed better than my previous one a couple of years ago as it was more integrated and better composed. A long life ahead for this one. A crowd pleaser for sure. |

Sweet of course, but shockingly light on the palate, with a long honeyed and Graham cracker finish. Marmalade emerges in glass, alongside sulphured papaya, caramel, pineapple, and white pepper. She's 22 and a real sweetie. |

Palate so unctuous and charming; beautiful balancing acidity and freshness. With air the nose reveals more layers; some macadamia, some grated fudge and hints of overripe mango. Love it. |
