5/6/2024 - VDLT Wine Likes this wine: NRReally good and seemingly improving towards the end. Not showing much tannin but good structure. The fruit is tasty and rather primary. At times, I was thinking it too linear. Overall, most enjoyable. |

4/29/2024 - DrZett wrote: 91 pointsNice red fruits, strawberries and raspberries are dominant, soft earthy notes and a few soft aging notes like dried leather and mushrooms in the background. Tannins are smooth. Good complexity and a very nice overall balance. Medium long finish. |

4/20/2024 - fitzi wrote: NRThis is darned good now. As in prior notes, a little thin for a 1er on opening, with signature Pernand sandy tannins, very fine-grained - as befits the quality of this vineyard - and tart cherry. Hand-in-hand with the Pernand tannins goes a palpable sense of density, which is moderate here. The whole package is very clean, balanced, and pure, especially the cherry flavors, and the thinness dissipates somewhat after a night in the 'fridge. A very nice adjunct from Ile to the versions produced by Chandon dB and Rollin; a bit like an imagined Jadot with more elegance. A good surprise after previous showings. At $65 for the 2019, not the value it was in 2010, but reasonably priced, relative to Iles from other good vignerons. |

4/15/2024 - StefanVB wrote: 91 pointsIn the glass, the wine shows a gorgeous light gold color. Intense aromas of fresh citrus, ripe peach, roasted nuts and spice persist on the nose. On the palate, the fruits evolve into the exotic variety with the wine broadening on the palate and developing a soft, creamy texture impeccable balanced by an energetic acidity. |

3/30/2024 - Pinot Peter Likes this wine: NRWow...all the characteristics of a great tasting CC. Lt. to pale yellow in colour, excellent acidity giving this a fabulous freshness, no premature signs of aging. Notes of minerality, slight nose of biscuit, primary fruit flavours of citrus mostly lemon, slight hint of green apple. Great length, extremely gratifing wine to drink. Last bottle |

3/15/2024 - VDLT Wine wrote: NRNot sure what to make of this…Initially, quite tannic but that dissipated quickly. Overall, it seems quite primary. But there is something about the fruit that isn’t quite right. At times, it seemed sour. At others - artificial. Some quality elements, but not Grand Cru class and not Perrières earthiness. We shall see. |

1/23/2024 - cdimaro Likes this wine: 94 pointsBright golden yellow. This offers a broad spectrum of delicate and well defined nuances, leading to an overall delicate but assertive aromatic profile. Ripe apple, honeysuckle, vanilla, honey, butter, smoke intermingled with sage and rosemary notions. The palate is medium to full bodied, creamy and sumptuous, delivering depth leading to a long finish. |

From one of Burgundy's semi "under the radar" but outstanding producers! Not the head-turner that a very recent 2017 PYCM CC was but still a great example I'd be more than happy to own & drink again. Potent minerality along w/ citrus & stone fruit. It's hard to overstate its bead of steely minerality. Balanced w/ plenty of acidity but ready to go as it has become more placid since my previous btl in late 2021. Elegant, regal Corton-Charlemagne that is ready to drink. There was some coursing overlap where we also had Kevin's '08 Crystal which kind of pancaked my CC :). 93+ |
