Decanted for 1.5 hours, drank over the next 5 hours. The first glass tasted out of balance/hollow, with less fruit left than expected, but present acid and grainy tannin still present. By hour 3, it tasted more integrated and elegant, but a touch simple, with notes of sour red fruit, but only a touch of tertiary characteristics. This was much better with aged manchego cheese, and should be enjoyed with food.
Overall, this wine was #3 out of #3 when compared to a 2009 Chateau Pedesclaux and a 2003 Grand Puy Lacoste.

Mørke bær, blå plommer, litt solbær med hint av lær, lakris, fat og våt skogbunn. Fortsatt skarpe tanniner og medium syre, som smeltet flott inn med okse indrefilet og fløtesaus, men som viste seg igjen etter maten.

This was a charming, graceful, old-world wine, and an especially good deal at the $33 I paid for it at Spec's in Fort Worth. I wish I'd bought every bottle at that price!

Splash decanted. Followed half the bottle over 3 hours. Plush red fruit mixed with gravel. Fairly classic Pauillac, elegant, restrained and a touch simple. I'd like to try this again in 2026+.

Mørke bær, vanilje, krydder og eik i nesa. Bringebær, solbær, markjordbær, hint av lær med myke tanniner i munnen. Noe strammere enn 2007 årgangen, men falt på plass med fløtepotetene.

Nose: musty/dried mixed berries (black and blue fruit), cocoa, leather. Palate: Tart raspberries...a bit surprising considering the darker fruit on the nose, hint of pepper and nicely integrated wood and tannins on the finish. A simple and straightforward Bordeaux.

Beautiful claret! All about ripeness. Ripe black fruits, ripe tannins. Good concentration, rich and juicy, gravel, cedar wood, hints of chocolate. Drinks very nicely now. This classified 5th growth from Pauillac which 2010 can be enjoyed already. It was difficult to miss with such a God blessed vintage. Blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignonand 24% Merlot.

Bordeaux by Joe (Jason's house): I was only able to give this a 30 minute decant. There was a freshness and an herbaceous bell pepper quality to it that was desirable. It is relaxed with good structure, but it is not overly complex right now. I hope this gains complexity with a few more years. Try again in 2020-2021.

I expected more from this wine. We liked it at first, although the fruit was muted. This was a balanced wine with resolved tannins, moderate finish, but not much going on as far as complexity or change throughout the tasting, which led to a disappointed feeling with the wine overall. The wine tasted the same from the first sip to an hour later, which leads me to believe that this wine will not get any better. Simply, the wine never evolved into anything throughout the tasting. Many at the table were having a difficult time distinguishing this from the nice value 2013 Kendall Jackson Vintners Reserve we had as a second wine, nearly 1/3 the price of the Lynch. While the KJ opened up into something similar to the Lynch, the Lynch stayed the same throughout.

Drank along La Tour Carnet 2010 & Pichon Comtesse de Lalande 1990. Outstanding! Powerful and yet streaming and classy easy going wine. A very good quality for price, I'll save the rest of my bottles for another day, probably in 3 to 4 years.

Really enjoyed this somewhat subtle Bordeaux. Nose is pencil shavings and blackberries, with a hint of the smooth velvet to come. Palate has some notes of forest floor, with dried fruit and a slightly bitter finish, but not enough to ruin the experience. Tannins are soft and nicely structured. Probably has some life in it still, but it's drinking very well now.

Robe rubis foncé, longues larmes grasses, lentes... Magnifique. Au nez c'est tout pauillac, fruits noirs, cèdre, crayon mine. Tannique mais d'une belle façon, me rappelle un Haut-Batailley 1966 (!), prêt à aborder mais je vais en garder pour voir l'évolution. Bravo ! 92

Union Des Grands Crus de Bordeaux DC. Classic cabernet sauvignon heavy, left bank Bordeaux from Pauillac with elements of smoke, earth and cassis. Moderately tannic but has a good core of fruit to provide power and balance. A really nice classically styled Bordeaux for the money.

Rich, with blackberry and crème de cassis, ripe, maybe a bit too fat, not quite the complexity of some previous vintages, but just enough pencil shavings and tannins on the finish to make it interesting.

Bordeaux Confidential SF (SF): A bit of cucumber on the nose - bright high-toned pyrazines. Some pencil shavings / graphite / cedar. A bit of earthiness. Maybe a tiny bit of brettanomyces spice, but just barely at my threshold - not noticeable as brett. In the mouth, fresh acidity. Bright and juicy. Some tannic grip. Score: Between 8.5 and 9.

Tasted at the Zachys Bordeaux Confidential tasting on 5/14/15 in NYC.
Fresh herbs and berries on the nose. Full-bodied, great acidity and integration. Velvety smooth finish. I was quite surprised with the quality of this wine and the fact that it is drinking this well at this young age. This is a sleeper. An incredible value. I will purchase some for sure.

(Kyoto.)

Excellent Bordeaux Pauillac and good value. Tasted as part of a 4 bottle vertical 2008-2011 by Bear Dalton from Houston Specs. Deep red opaque color, strong black fruit nose, good fruit taste with oak and gravel background, some tobacco. A classic left bank Bordeaux. 75% Cab Sauv/25% merlot. Price $60

Lots of blackberry, cassis and tobacco coupled with an equal amount of tannin that makes this a wine that needs at least 5 years in the cellar before it comes together. This is a good value wine for Pauillac. The wine was produced from a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Merlot.

Taste: Medium bodied with good tannins. The mid-palate is lacking a bit and there is the green note along with tones of dark red cherries, cedar, and spice box.
Overall: I wasn't fully sure what to make of this. It was lacking a slight bit and there was a green streak that was surprising.

It has the ripe tannins but not the freshness of lively structure of the vintage, that said it is extremely likable, with masses of pencil lead and some cranberry, too.

UCGB tasting Bordeaux 2010 (Brussels): Dark fruits, sweet spices and good oak in the bouquet. On the palate nice and ripe dark fruits juice, well dosed oak, good acidity, round tannin and bitterness. Certainly a very ok wine, but lacking the concentration, luxury and finesse of the truly great wines. Try around 2020.
