Tasted over several hours. Out of the bottle, there was some funk on the nose, but it cleared with time and became wonderful. Great vibrant acidity, beautiful nose. It has a palette impact consistent with what you would expect in a Village wine. However, Delicious!

Overall my experience with this wine has been rather disappointing. One bottle corked, several sub par and only one was shining. I guess I should have opened them earlier.

PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs -nearly opaque dark red purple minimal bricking -aromatic rich full sweet black cherry -barely med acidity, med weight full round if only average depth, ripe almost creamy black cherry, med/med+ tannins without overt oakiness -dark fruit profile and excellent balance of the vintage, drinking beautifully now if still on the young side, more complex on the nose than the palate, very good

After waiting 10 years, I finally opened one of my biggest treasures. And frankly it was a little disappointing. Decanted for three hours and chilling it back for an hour resulted in a wine that had great balance but lacked seduction and expresiveness. A good wine without WOW. The next day it had opened up more and was a joy to drink. Hopefully it is going through a dumb phase. Let's see next year.

curry, smoke, mineral on top of dark cherry and raspberry liqueur-like fruit mixed with velvety flavors, crunchy minerals and a very powerful base of dark red fruit. So much in reserve still. This opens up to show a bit more spread on the midpalate. No rush. Fabulous material for it's level. More 1er Cru-like.

Dark red. Nose is black currant, spice cake and an earthy note. Plenty of power for a village level wine. Finishes with excellent perfume and lovely sappy fruit. No hurry.

Beautiful Vosne spice filled nose, with tea and earth! This wine really over delivers it’s classification in this super vintage. Great balance, with deep cherries and spicy minerals, earth. Still on the young side. Kept evolving during the evening, and I believe that this will be even better in a couple of years. Lovely wine, from a great producer! 91 +

clean, cool blackberry and blueberry aromas with some exotic spices — the nose was more restrained than i expected — and then wildly expansive in the mouth, with great balance between fruit, acid, and tannin. sweet cherry pit finish. remarkable clarity of fruit across the board — the wine is still quite young, of course, but it's by no means awkward. did nicely with roast duck and wild rice.

Richly spicy with cinnamin and ginger and spice that you honestly feel in your mouth when you smell the nose. Big, richly fruited with a sense of almost creaminess on the mid palate coupled with dark berry fruits. Relatively forward and exotic but nonetheless a wine that out performs its AC status.

Drank this for our first anniversary. Beautiful acidity, like a cherry razor cutting down the middle of the tongue. Nose of earth, mushrooms and cherries. Lush mouthfeel for Old World. I just wish we had more.

Pop and pour. Tasted over 2 hours. Bright garnet ruby. Roomfilling deep, ripe cherry and oak - vanilla, coconut, clove, hint of anise incense and lanolin. Great fruit/acid attack. Medium bodied, straight ahead. Very satisfying, esp for a villages. Cranberries. Nice buried structure - the 05 vintage - but also lush. Will be wonderful in 7 years, glad I have more. Good front palate, hollow mid, no back. Not that long, but what did I expect, this is a villages, as good as it is. If it fills out and deepens it will be outstanding. (90+) Half empty bottle corked at 53 degrees overnight. 24 hours later - Deepening. Varnish hints on nose (pleasant). Baked cherry turnover, without sugar. Then, some whiffs of blue and even black fruits emerging. Longer than I remember last night. Knitting together. Fine tannins, but really an excellent fruit/acid/tannin balance. Very, very nice. Two more years, and then over the next ten or so. A couple more points of upside if this continues to develop this way.

Thick, medium ruby with a touch of purple. Expansive, large scaled nose. Soapy, red berry fruit mixed with a meaty minerality. There is some fun complexity here, not terribly elegant, but not too big either. This is a terrific village wine with great depth...I look forward to trying this again in 2015. This goes on and on. Wow. After 5 hours, a distinct red current flavor emerges...also, a little menthol and coconut (from the oak). After another hour, the wine integrates well and an Asian spice note emerges. This wine is wild and really quite special for a village wine. (92+)

Quite nice to drink now, but much greater rewards in 10-15 years. Very balanced, solid. 91-92+ right now, 93-94+ future.
