Color: attractive light gold with tiny bubbles Nose: light to medium intensity; floral with fresh stone fruit; some spicy aromas, maybe white pepper? Body/flavor: medium body with wonderful mouthfeel... those tiny bubbles makes themselves known! Crisp with some peach and honey flavors. Very good acid balance Aftertaste: short finish.
My last of three bottles; bought them in 2011. Amazing, delicious sparkler for $17! Didn't finish it all, so sealed it with vacuum stopper... drank the rest two days later... still alive, loaded with bubbles!

Great QPR. Delicate fine bubbles make for a beautiful mousse to admire and to experience. Pear/apple/custard nose, brilliant acidity on the palate but a little dull otherwise. Might be worth setting aside for a couple of years and seeing if it develops any secondary characteristics, there's certainly some structure to sustain the experiment. Would be great with something like sushi where the acid plus palate delicacy wouldn't overpower anything. Crystal clear pale gold. Sure beats the Champagne I was served on the plane ride in this morning.

Popped and poured. Paired with a cumin and red pepper crusted pork roast. Though this wine tends to be on the un-exciting side by itself, it was the perfect counterpoint to the spicy and fatty elements of dinner. Dark golden hues. Nose of pear custard. Sweet apple notes on the palate. Would purchase again.

Boring and a disappointment, unless you are just popping something to make mimosas with. Nothing bad, just nothing to write home about. Lots of cavas and even US sparklers at this price point that are significantly better.

(B+) Very nice, much fuller and crisper than my last bottle. Nice bubble structure this time. Overall rather dry, with dehydratd apples and apricots on the front palate. A tiny trace of sugar cookie emerges in the middle, and fades to a slightly muted finish. Easy drinking.

Popped and poured. Allowed to warm up throughout the evening as we enjoyed time with the neighbors for the 4th of July block party. I would put this in the simple but pleasant category. Medium-small bubbles with a nose of overly ripe apples and raw pie crust. More red apple on the palate. The acidity kicked in on the back of the palate. Decent everyday kind of bubbles. Good enough that it doesn't need Chambord, but not something i'd pull for New Years Eve. Would purchase again.

I like this a lot, particularly for the price ($17) . Relatively full bodied and decently balanced. Overall flavor profile is nice, if without the complexity of finer champagnes.

Brought this wine to a casual dinner party. Drank before dinner on its own - widely popular. On the dry side; not too many bubbles; pleasant finish. Not the most complex glass, but something I would reach for again.

(12.5%) 50% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir – Made by Jean – Louis Denois, a sixth generation winemaker with roots to Champagne, this one hails straight out of the Languedoc. More specifically from Limoux in the southwest corner of France in the foothills Pyrenees. Made in the traditional method this one has a rose hue in the glass with some initial bubbles that dissipate quickly. Dry, crisp, and refreshing on the palate with nice green apple and lime fruit followed by a rocky, lively acidity. This one is delicate with a creamy mousse throughout. The mid-palate is yeasty with a touch of nuttiness and leads to a citrus hued, lasting finish. At $15 this may be spendy (or not if you are used to buying proper Champagne) but it is worth the price of entry. The kind of wine you should always have chilled and ready to go in case a celebratory situation (or large parties/weddings) avails itself…

Nice fine and very persistent bubbles even after being recorked and kept over night. Pure and pleasant, but hardly anything special.

Good for the price - more in the crisp prosecco category, seems more tilted towards the dry chard side vs rounder pinot.
