Pale yellow colour, ultra fine bubble. Slight floral note, in the mouth, it’s a bit “quick” everything is there but for such a short time. Everything end so quick, you feel as though you’re drinking soda water as you swallow.

A commercial, high volume product that nonetheless yields a high quality juice with nice aromas (a hint of toast) fine bubbles and overall enjoyable experience. Always a rewarding choice.

100% Glera. Nice soft petillage. Yellow apple, white flowers, fresh herbs, celery. Med (+) acidity balances out the sugar. Med (-) alcohol (11%). Nice, clean, slightly salty finish. Very good QPR.

MNB: Tank-method sparkling wines (Home (Noe st)): (blind) Pale straw color. Clean fruity nose - green apple and pear. A little bruised nature to the apple. Faint impression of lees - maybe cheese rind, but not autolysis. 15-20g RS. Medium plus acid. Fairly clean green-apple finish. Mousse is moderately powerful - feels maybe 2-3 atm. Given the mousse and the RS and acid, this feels like a pretty classic Prosecco, extra dry, $15.
Correct: Melvolti Prosecco superiore Extra dry $19

A: Pale lemon gold with very light bubbles N: PRIMARY_pears, apples (golden delicious). Medium (-) intensity Youthful P: Sugar present but not quite as sweet as off-dry. Pears, apples, some acetone and a little stale beer/hops taste Acidity is medium (+), body is medium, alcohol is medium and finish is medium for me. Surprisingly long. Medium intensity.
C: Not exciting and nowhere near the refreshing nature of other valdobiadenne that i have had. The sugar in sparkling wine is just not a style to which i gravitate. Its not complex, the acidity helps wash the sugar away somewhat. Its very good quality and if you like this style $13 or $14 is a steal but i can't get on with it.

Spot-on prosecco! Lively citrus and pear, with just a bit of sweet and slightly musky grapeyness for background, cleansing acidity. Refreshing and crisp, and the price is right.

A very pleasant cocktail bubbly or aperitif to accompany a wide range of antipasti. Straw yellow in color, with a hint of green. Nice perlage. Medium nose of golden apples, pear and lemon. Dry, but with a hint of sugar which gives it some roundness and balances out the bracing acidity. The alcohol is medium (-).

Color: Pale yellow. Nose: Not very expressive. But apples are noticeable. Mouth: Apples and some pears, a hint of sugar cane in the finish without being sweet. There is a faint spicy aroma like cinnamon. Aroma of brioche, too. Fine "perlage". 11% alc. Excellent quality price ratio. Not necessarily only an apéro wine but compliments food, as well. I had it with sausage and patato salad and it was a perfect combination!

Good and pleasant as an aperitif. Easy, albeit a little simple and somewhat lacking in effervescence. I liked it better when I tasted it the first time, by itself. Drink now, not intended for ageing.

The Carpenè Malvolti Prosecco di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Dry appears in the glass with a pale lemon color. The nose has medium/high intensity, and is dominated by fruit aromas. I detect citrus notes (grapefruit), as well as a present pear impression, with more subtle hints of melon and quince. On the palate, high acidity, medium/light body and medium finish. I agree with other users that this wine has a tad of sweetness that I did not expect given the "Extra Dry" designation. This became really obvious to me, as I tasted this Prosecco side by side with a brut Champagne.

Grandi Marchi Italian Tasting (Sydney, Australia): Apple, grape and mandarin. Sweetness is quite present on the palate, and for me it felt a touch cloying on the finish. There is acidity lurking but it doesn't show enough.

{cork, 11%, A$18} Nearly colourless. Fresh, flower-tinged grapefruit aromas. Clean, rather neutral palate; softly-textured, gentle melon/grapefruit flavours. Dry perhaps, but there's a softness that keeps this from being tart, although the acid it doing its job. Quite fine bubbles, but still the finish is fairly short and simple.

Nose: Nice, like bread and white flowers. Taste: Just a drop of sweetness on the approach, some minerality/citrus on the finish. What you get is nice, but not much of a midpalate, short finish. Mouthfeel is pretty good with fairly small bubbles. Good for the price.
