Disgorgement date of Feb 2023. This is very different to the bottles we had with a 09/2022 disgorgement.
Nose feels very Champagne like. Brioche, strawberries, lemons, cranberries, and saline. Seems to have more acidity than the last bottles - which may balance out the sweetness I noticed before.
Medium bodied, chalky, crunchy acidity, and easy drinking. Palate of strawberries, raspberries, lemons, cream, limestone, and a touch of barrel spices. Moderate orange and orange peel, cranberry, chalk, light brioche, and spice finish.
A great combination of easy drinking and complex. Absolute steal at $18 a bottle.

Pours a nice medium salmon with a touch of copper. Moderate medium sized bubbles. Nose of candied raspberries, sweet lemon oil, brioche, and saline. A bit on the sweet side, but very well balanced. Palate follows the nose. There is light tanninc structure present. Medium-length finish of raspberry and sour lemon candy finish with brioche, mild spice, and seashells. A persisting spice profile builds up with a few sips.
While on the sweeter side, it remains very crisp. This is great deal at $20 and going to make it in to my rotation with Roederer Estate as a house bubbly.

Deep salmon color. The nose sports a bright, chalky, floral appeal with raspberries and white cherries, with some biscuits, strawberry rhubarb pie, sea salt – a lot of cool things going on. The palate is racy with fine bubbles and a lush mouthfeel. Strawberries, tart red apples, wild raspberries, the fruit is mixed with biscuits, saltine crackers, honeysuckle, mint. Love the creaminess but this maintains crunchy, fresh vibes throughout. Tthis classic California sparkler is still going strong, and is demonstrating some serious value. 55% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir, aged two years on the lees.

The Fourth Annual World’s Largest Blind Tasting of American Sparkling Wine; 12/20/2021-12/23/2021: Retail $29. 55% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir. Another pale salmon, quite similar to the rosés from the South of France. Sweet ripe strawberry on the nose with a bit of yeastiness. A fine sparkle leads to a wine that is both quite tart and a tad sweet, it works, though, as the finish is both tart and surprisingly dry. An interesting wine.
55% Chard, 45% PN (5% is red wine) 10g/l, 24 months, DIAM cork. light pink color is right on point. Damn, this is easy to drink, still maintains complexity on the palate.

Scharffenberger Bruts are so underrated. This Rosé has such a crisp and seamless personality. Raspberries, orange citrus, shortbread, and a whiff of baking spices rise from the glass. Vivid, focused, and harmonious in the mouth, it displays a refreshing bead and an energetic finish. Great QPR. 89+

Seymour Wine Club Meeting 8/11/18 (Home of the Slywka's): Tasted blind. Nose wasn't giving up much. All I was really getting was strawberry. The palate made up for it though with flavors of strawberry, raspberry and lime. Ended with a rather short finish and seemed to loose it's bubbles quite quickly although I did not receive a huge pour. A nice easy drinking wine but just shy on complexity. This wine finished tied for 2nd and I gave it 89 points.

Talula's Table (kennett square, pa): A bit clunky, with coarse mousse. Strawberry, rhubarb, good acid, some yeasty notes. Perfectly drinkable and refreshing, but not memorable.

On the nose- strawberry rhubarb pie, fresh cherries, nice minerality almost a fresh sea breeze
On the palate- strawberry rhubarb pie, fresh cherries, nice minerality with a fresh sea breeze of acidity that mixes with an almost creamy mouthfell, just a really solid bottle of bubbles for the price point

December 2015 disgorgement. Yeasty and toasty style; sturdy and frisky, more playful than stylish. Sea breezy flavors are countered by red berry, peach, and shortbread top notes. Has good definition, agreeable acidity, and loads of mineral energy. Good finish. Appealing.

1st time trying this, disgorged Nov 2013. Dark salmon, slight brownish/copper color, refreshing, decent amount of intensity, and ends with a slight bitterness finish, which was interesting. IMHO, intensity is similar to neighboring Roederer Estate Rose (although cellaring time from disgorged date would make a lot of differences). I still prefer Roederer Estate, but would drink this again.

Fantastic domestic bubbles. Copperish salmon color in the glass with loads of bubbles mineral acids to go along with fresh raspberries and cherry on the palate and nose. Crisp, clean and cleansing. went great with loaded baked potato soup. Creamy texture as it opened up more. very hard not to cruise through a bottle quickly between the 2 of us. Better than the Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Noirs by a few points. Will actively seek out more of this. No real less flavors separates this from a French Champagne, but so pleasant sliding down the throat, great mousse.
