Delicious; lovely purely styled Chablis. Nose of sea breeze, pear, peach, lemon pith, and crushed shells. Palate with very good depth and balance and just begs you to take another sip.

Mixed Theme at The Kewwood (The Kenwood, Mpls, MN): Pale straw color. Drank 1 glass over 30 minutes. Marked by stony minerality and a bit more roundness and oily texture, lemon followed by pear and stone fruits.

Very expressive nose right from the bottle. Tons of fresh lemons jump out of the glass. The palate is also immediately approachable and succulent. Has a prominent acidity which is perfectly balanced by the fruit and this wine shows very good right now. After 10 minutes in the glass it turns a bit, and gives some almondy bitterness on the nose, with hints of some oxidation. The fruit also goes towards tanguerines and pineapple more than lemons in the nose. It seemed to me the palate was also changed a bit. At this point I was worried this bottle would become a fiasco. But slowly and in course of the next hour, the wine pulled itself together. The immense lemony nose was gone for good, but the oxidized elements of the nose faded away too. In return I got a palate dreams are made of. Extreme power and concentration for the appellation, hand in hand with classic partially developed ripe chardonnay fruit and sharp, focused acidity. A charm of a wine, even if I have to conclude it had some slight fault to it. Would rate 92-93 if the nose hadn't deteriorated.

Beautiful showing. In need of some air as it's initially a little shut down. It reveals minerality, white fruit and subtle baked aromas on nose. On palate it's already more expressive... superb minerality, saline flavors and a remarkable body despite it's youth. With every glass it kept gaining weight and complexity. This is a great Forets already and can only get better. 90-92

Delicious Chablis. Nose of lime zest, sea breeze, crushed lime, and hint of granny smith apple. The palate is fresh, bursting with citrus and saline mineral notes. Pretty young right now and will likely gain more depth with bottle age.

Øye: lys gul Nese: mer åpen en andre 2012 fra Louis Michel, sjø, mineraler, eple Munn: sitrus med god mineralitet, fyldig med noen flotte smørtoner, god syrestruktur og pen lengde.

Mixed Lineup (Kenwood Restaurant): Fairly typical 1er Chablis. Salinity, shellfish, some creaminess.

Blind. Tight, fresh -- yet tropical, develops in the glass

Completely unyielding when opened. After 8 hours of air the story was very different. Consistant with earlier quality

Very good. Lost a bit of nerve since last time I tasted it. Tropical fruits. More warm fruit than I can recall. OK, but not stellar.
