A stellar Butteaux from a raising star organically farmed winery of Thomas Pico. Wine is aged in stainless steel and concrete for 18 months. Intense and complex aroma caramelized apples, cinnamon, ripe pears, candied lemons, honeysuckle, Pina colada hints. Medium+ body, tense and lively, remarkable sharpness, so fresh and dynamic. Showing generous depth and concentration of granny smith, citrusy and stone fruit flavours along vibrant and crisp steely acidity, concludes with long mouthwatering touch smoky finish.

Mostly white Burgundies: Absolutely adore this producer, some wines just have that magic. Perfectly poised wine with a lovely balance between green and yellow fruit, an incredible acidity and precision to the wine.

Nice all around and well balanced acidity. In a good place now. Went well with both raw and fried oyster appetizer! Perhaps lacked a bit of complexity but at this price point, wish I had more.

lovely wine, very fresh, incredible given it's 9 years old, wood is well integrated and the wine is overall very well balance, lacks the wow effect, but given the price range I don't think you can ask for more

What a great Chablis. Decanted along dinner. Superb balance, minerality and restrained fruit with a soft texture. Fruit became more apparent with time with a hint of exotic fruits. Great acidity with again that nice refreshing minerality on the palate. Really outstanding.

Le nez est assez discret, la bouche évolue favorablement avec l'air : à l'image du domaine de l'enclos bu chablis ici, un fond d'élevage en voie d'intégration complète, une belle densité de bouche, un vrai bon chardo bourguignon qui révèle timidement son origine par une finale citronnée après une demi-heure dans le verre. En tous cas, çà se boit super bien, très grosse buvabilité. A son niveau.

1 t på karaffel. Noe utviklet farge. Fjærestein, kalk, sitrus og litt smør. Mer mineraler enn frukt i munnen. Gir mer med luft og temp. Noe rikt anslag, men strammer seg opp i finishen. God lengde. Drakk bra over 2 dager.

Robe d’un beau doré. Assez rond pour un chablis mais avec une bonne fraicheur. Arômes de boisé, beurre, brioche et légèrement minéral. Facile à boire, à boire pas trop frais.

A lost Friday afternoon gathering – 96 Oeno, 99 Roumier BM, 13 Ente VV, 95 Rayas, 90 Chap (BlackSalt, Washington DC): The nose clearly expresses the 12 ripeness, ripe orchard fruit, meyer lemon, honey, white pepper and a lot of limestone. Very good concentration, clean, precise, detailed, mouth puckering acidity, strong presence of mineral and a long clean finish with a hint of honey at the end. Despite displaying the 12 ripeness, the overall expression is cool and energetic with a lot of mineral. The style reminds me Raveneau but a bitleaner. Very good showing.

Explosive nose of taught orchard fruit and a saline-limestony essence. Pretty dense, nuance of oak rounds it off and adds a slight raw dough note. Really nice. All organic, old vines, all aged in old oak. EWG at Green Street Tavern.

This has really come together in the year or so I last had it, expressive sea breeze, minerals, subtle green fruits, precise, clean and purity in the mouth elegant fresh finish .... Dam I really wish I had more of this

Pure and crisp. Lemon, oyster, wet stones. Immature gooseberries, hint of lime in the aftertaste together with some lemon sorbet. Solid backbone of acidity. Great potential. Had this a few degrees warm which definitely harmed the performance.
