Medium + nose of grass, peach, cream, pink grapefruit, crushed rock. Savory and lean on the palate, medium - body, but sweet fruit on the finish. Drank over 2 days and was much better on day one. Drinking very well as a pop n’ pour right now.

Diner at Paradise Teochew. Typical white bordeaux blend: sauvignon blanc, semillon and muscadelle. Mid honey gold colour. Typical sauvignon blanc grassy note on the nose and palate. Crisp and fresh. Juicy citrusy notes. More mineral than fruit driven. Not much complexity even at 10 years of age. But no signs of decline. Overall an enjoyable wine, and surprisingly good considering the reputation of this vintage.

Tasted blind in a lineup of Bordeaux vs. Australia. Moderate lemon in the glass, which indicates this will offer some form of richness (which I always get excited about in Bordeaux Blanc). Tropical fruit notes come out first, followed by elderflower, green grass and nettle. The palate offers so much more though. Very nice touch of minerality in here to differentiate it from NW Sauvignon Blanc (that you may think about on the nose). Bright acidity highlighting the fruit. Long finish. Probably the best Bordeaux Blanc I've tried to date, so much character.

Medium plus intense aromas. Citrus fruit, barely-ripe pear, white flowers, bread dough, wet gravel, walnut and allspice, mild truffle.
High acid, dry, creamy texture, long finish.
This is a beautiful, delicate wine that needs a brief aeration to “wake up” and reveal its complex nature. While it is still fresh and vibrant overall, it does show initial signs of age. I think this will still drink nicely for a number of years to come.

This bottle showed a significant improvement and has put on more weight and was more complex than a bottle opened up about a year ago.
Beautiful light gold appearance.
Evolving nose of citrus, honeyed apple and peach and maybe some white flowers. Compared to my tasting note from a year ago- much more on the honeyed side.
Medium bodied with high acidity and nice medium plus finish.
Overall well done and t think this will continue to evolve for 5 years or more...

Clear light medium yellow. Stone fruit, kiwi and hints of ox. Dry peach and lemon flavours with a bit of white flowers and old wood. Dry slightly oxidized finish.
Very good but losing freshness.

Dinner at Wah Lok. Golden lemon colour. Remarkable bouquet of melon and peaches. On the palate, quite dry but mellow, some citrus notes. Has put on some weight since I first tasted this in 2015.

Somewhat taut with grapefruit and fresh fruit. Quality depth and intensity. Fine mouth feel. Will benefit with a year or three to add more roundness and integration.

This was good, but I had been expecting a bit more for the price, which is approaching Carbonnieux, which in my experience is superior. Still, very nicely done … close to being OTT and could nearly be mistaken for a New World (e.g. Napa) version.

Bordeaux UGC 2013 (Singapore): Style-wise somewhere between the Fieuzal and Larrivet. More citrus here than Larrivet but not the most expressive or interesting white. 88-89

Nose is full of good ripe lychee fruit, peach, citrus, and quite floral. A lot of the semillon comes through here.
Good acidity on the front palette with a soft texture and rounded flavors. Grapefruit dominates the palette with a medium-long finish with a little vanilla. Could take some aging I think and would fill out even more.

UGC 2016 (Chicago, IL): Another reasonably well-made Bordeaux blanc that features high on the acid scale but not boasting much to taste on the palate. The texture here is slightly rounder, but that's pretty much it.

Good but not great 2013 dry white.
Very well made (even delicious) but lacks the depth and complexity of some of the top wines of the vintage.
Tasted beside a 2013 de Fieuzal blanc which showed much better on this night.
I would opt to drink now.

Tasting Bordeaux 13-12-11-10 in Hong Kong (Visiting Vinexpo 2016, I finally tasted Bordeaux 2013s from bottle, plus earlier vintages): A very pleasing citrus driven nose, grapefruit zest, and brisk yet rich on the smooth palate. Medium finish.
