Cracked and poured at fridge temp. A very typical Sauv Blanc, with fresh nettles and black currant leaf, but not as pungent as they can get. The palate shows good lemony acidity, green grass and grapefruit. Very enjoyable, elegant.

Big step up from a lot of the other wines available on the hotel by the glass list. There's some green apple and a nice touch of honey and a decent crispness to it all. Missing some complexity, but the pieces fit together well. And it's a good end to a busy day.

Lodi and Beyond (Wine Wizards Stockton): Mildly catty and fresh. Excellent and accessible acid balance, good viscosity and a lovely finish. Really liked everything except the price which at $30 was too much, there are plenty of similarly nice wines below $20.

Popped and poured from a half bottle. Expressive nose of cat pee and nettles. Medium bodied, dry and rather refreshing, showing grapefruit, nettles, cat pee and a hint of asparagus. Good acidity. Nice basic S.B. but not that interesting. I'm more into the fruitier and robust new world(New Zealand) style of S.B.

Yellow-green color. Citrus, lime, gooseberry and cut grass on the nose; citrus (grapefruit) and mineral notes, more cut grass on the palate. Crisp and well balanced. Nice, medium finish. Very serviceable SB.

This pale yellow Sauvignon Blanc frames its citrus fruit with nice minerality and spice. Light-bodied, freshly acidic and without alcoholic heat (13%), it stays vibrant on the mid-palate and finishes with medium length. This was an excellent accompaniment to spatchcocked chicken, but it would undoubtedly pair equally well with similar light fare. Drink now-2020.

Light gold in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of lemons/limes, apples & gooseberries with overtones of floral & mineral notes, stony/flinty, chalky, herbs & a hint of grassiness in the background. Light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of lemons/limes, apples & grapefruit with minerals, herbs & stones. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present although it should continue to develop with further aging

P: MF , poss Med, body; Rndish entry with almost swtish frt met by ALMOST puckerish acidity which slowly, fairly seamlessly morphs into a VERY LONG, TANGY, yet DECIDEDLY honied finish. A VERY powerful style that DESERVES into early if not mid '18, then drinking into '21 min. The oomph of a relatively expensive Chard @ a fraction of the cost! BRAVO! :) 13.0% ABV. 90 pts & a Silver @ '17 Decanter World Wine Awards, and 89 WE @ $25. [IF still available, this vendor's $19.95 would be in the lower part of the top 1/2 of wine-searcher's mid-June 2018 listings.]

Excellent. Very fresh and aromatic. The vibrant character is proof that the screw cap closure is a success. Will purchase again.

The nose of this wine was underwhelming, disappointingly bland on the palate.

Ljusgul färg. Tydlig doft av krusbär, mineral och svartvinbärsblad. Smaken liknande. Hög syra, relativt låg fyllighet.

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #121; Sancerre, Pouilly Fumé and Menetou Salon (By WW): In the bouquet minerals, cat pee, pear and character. On the palate minerals, firm grapefruit acidity, flowers, apple and gooseberry. Good concentration and length and the acidity is dominating a bit in this stage.
