Synthetic cork closure. Medium yellow. Floral, apple, lemon, struck match nose. Generously fruity palate - apple, baked apple. Silky and still with a refreshing edge - this is compelling!

Typisk 2016 i min bok.

Dobbeltdekantert. Litt bitter avslutning. God til osten Mont d'Or.

Daisuke's Last Shift (La Terre): Pale lemon with slight green barley hue. Aromas of medium ripe peach and apricot, as well as walnut, barley and flint, as well as a measure of cooling menthol. Zingy acids, whilst medium bodied, and subtle underripe peach and apricot flavours, as well as slightly candied lemons, bit of cloves and cinnamon, and some walnuts, as well as almond. Somewhst savoury towards the back and slightly briny, and slightly toasty. Medium length. Nice!

Tasted double-blind. Unmistakably Chardonnay but I was all about this being Chablis with bright citrus fruit, gorgeous minerals and racy acidity. What a pleasant surprise!! Even more impressive is how well this showed coming off the heels of the Montille Corton just before. I need more of this in my life.

Enjoyed this even more than a previous bottle. There's a lot going on with this wine. Rich fruit and a cool backbone like a hint of a sea breeze. Still some oaky flavors that will hopefully continue to resolve.

Served blind. Light straw yellow. Light pear aromas Very soft, low acid and just off dry; I had a hard time placing this. The off dry nature steered away from Bourgogne and I assumed an off dry Vouvray. With the reveal I realized I made the same mistake last time. Lovely light soft Macon, YFS

Good example of white Burgundy. Fragrant white flower nose, lots of acid and zip to go with the leaner old world style Chardonnay. Med weight and slightly short finish but tasty. Pairs quite well with food.

Not the best vintage of Leflaive. A little low on the domaine's typical high, lemony acidity -- which I like. Still good. Very floral, rather austere for Macon-Verze. Worth a try, but not indicative of Leflaive's usual quality.

The wine is a bit muted, but aromas of yellow apples, minerals and floral tones appear (and dissappear) in interchanging sequences. Medium body, medium acidity with a relatively long and semi-dry finish.
Tasted blind. Guessed either Riesling or Unoaked Chardonnay.

1 time i karaffel.

Kalkete mineralitet. Enkel og deilig. Frisk med en delikat fedme i munn. Pen syre og ok utgang. Vellykket og enkel drikkevin. Bedre enn 14 utgaven.
