Dark ruby color. Moderate legs. Cherry, blackberry, and blueberry on the nose. Light to medium mouth feel. Cherry, blueberry, spice, and vanilla on the palate. Medium, spicy finish Nice bottle.

Just as great as the 2014. Dark, rich, fruity after it is given an hour or two of breathing when it really opens up and softens. Still needs an hour of breathing on day two, but ends up about like day one.

Lots of berry fruits with this wine after 2hr decant. Great fruity nose and very smooth finish where I don't get much tannins or acidity. Enjoyed with pizza but would be very good on its own as well.

Big, plump, and chewy, with a mouthful of cherries, oak, and jammy extraction. This isn't a style of wine that I particularly enjoy but I keep buying it hoping I'll like it.

Lots of alcohol and fruit forward. This was really hot. After day 2 and 3, it definitely softened up a bit. Enjoyable to drink but not sure at $27 with tax it costs. Think the Prisoner name inflates the price a bit. It’s a better value than the Prisoner wine at $45 or so.

Lots of oak, jammy sweet, boozy at 15.5% alcohol. Heavy mouthfeel. Much better Zins are available at lower prices like Bedrock Old Vine for $19. Pass on this one. $22 at Costco.

Deep ruby, almost black in the glass. Big, ripe & sweet nose showing rather good complexity - blueberry, blackberry, sweet cherry pie, bourbon and cuban cigar. Full-bodied, tastes like a whisky more than a wine, but structurally delivers if you're looking for something more "serious". Not much depth though.

This wine has a real spice box nose and flavors. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of cardomom are very forefront of aromas. The wine is tasty, medium bodied and smooth on the tongue. Was listed under Syrah blends but definitely Zinfandel is main component. Enjoyable, I would order a again. Tasted at club in Naples. Orin Swift wine.

The wine looks inky colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry, plum, prune, black currant (cassis), stoniness and alcohol/hot. It tastes like blueberry, prune, apple, cherry, petrol, mushroom, espresso, petrol and alcohol/hot. The body is full. The wine has juicy texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.

Vivino 4.2 is spot on. Really big Zin with a stunning, minimalist bottle!
Huge, fruit forward nose of blackberry, black cherry, stewed plum, tobacco, baking spice and chocolate.
In the mouth this is perhaps the most tannic wine I've ever tasted with throat-burning 15.5% alcohol.
Flavours match the nose with black and stewed fruit, smoke, jam, tobacco and loads of dark chocolate.
The dark chocolate finish lasts for ages and ages.
