Bought from an older store I used to call on as a wine rep. For $33 it's a steal!
Color. Pale gold
Nose. Lemons, apples, straw, vanilla ice cream.
Palate. Big persistent mousse, bright and balanced acidity, delicious purity of fruit. It's distinctively USA sparkling wine. Zero bread or yeast or toast. I would love to try this against Domaine Carneros.

Dark golden in color. Nose of yeast and a bit of lemon. Tart green apple, pineapple, and a little bit of candied lemon. Tart on the front palate that dissipates but lingers.

My wine course is finishing up with sparkling wines and fortified wines. This particular bottle was brought over by our friends Arty and Keef. It's been sitting in the fridge, waiting for the right occasion. Dinner with my cousin and Aunt after a nearly two year COVID hiatus is a good time to pop this bottle.
It's a medium lemon shade in the glass with nice mousse. The nose has a good intensity of pink grapefruit, lemon, bananas, bread dough and almonds. The palate is dry with juicy acidity, is medium bodied with pronounced flavors of green pear, grapefruit, lemon, brioche and almonds. The finish is decent in length and the wine is very good. I am giving this Chardonnay based sparkler 91 points and for $32 it's a great deal that gets 5 stars from me. Thanks guys at the 204! Drink till 2030.
These 375ml bottles are impossible to open. I’ve gone through a case and half of them had to opened with a corkscrew and dislocated elbow to dislodge the cork ... spilling half the contents in a foamy puddle.

This is in a terrific place right now, with a nice balance between the white & yellow fruits and the acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth without coming off as creamy, and there is no excess sweetness here. Really, a great QPR.

Fruit forward as others have noted, led by primary notes of lemon and Gala apple. Brioche is there too, and emerging minerality lingers on the medium-long finish. Creamy texture is balanced with ample acidity. Really well-made, and easily competes with some of the bigger French bottlings that land in the $50 price range. Picked this up for $30.

Really sweet and no precision that's expected from a BdB. Heavy green apple and pear, oversaturated mid palate. Definitely not my style, perhaps better suited for those who like strong fruit that's more in your face. Would not have again voluntarily

Bought by Flemings, at Flemings for my birthday, lovely mousse vigorously formed by small and medium size bubbles, nose of lemon/lime sliced apple, and slate, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, crisp, bright, refreshing, easy to sip, savor and enjoy while looking forward to the white and red wines tonight, mouth filling fruit, and a medium/long finish, Schramsberg is great sparkling wine and distinct from Champagne. Photo uploaded.

Woooo! My first schramsberg and it didn't not disappoint. Legends in the Napa sparkling wine world. This is one of those wines I would have not purchased if it were not for Some TV which did a vertical tasting episode on the winery. Awesome watch! Great bubbles, fresh apples peaches and a long finish. Worth every penny! Will continue to buy and wait for that stand out vintage. Get yo self some and experience it for yourself

This is a crisp tight sparkler from my favorite methode traditionnelle proprieter - sitting at the low range of cost, this provided expected experience of crisp apple, brioche, a hint of citrus zest - and unexpectedly, whiffs of blue cheese on the nose. Complexity isn't the point here - it's an everyday sparkler for whenever, wherever, whomever, and even none of them or all of them - QPR is great and a win for me. Drink now and toast to yourself for choosing wisely. Then open something completely preposterous and do it again.

“California Dreaming” tasting at the Rheingau Gourmet Festival early Mar 2020: pale yellow amber color; citrus and exotic fruit aromas paired with subtle yeasty notes; with a delicate, refreshing acidity on the palate. 91-92/100
This 2016 Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs offered a great, excellent start into the tasting. Bravo.

Our New Years Eve bubbly. Notes of toast, apple and lemon. Elegant and long. Subdued bubbles. Really nice juice. Less acid than, say, the Pol Roger, but I liked the balance all the same. Can't go wrong here. 2/8/20: Consistent 6/21/21: Just as good. Remains left in fridge under N2 (used a shaved down cork to seal it) were if anything even better the next night, a bit more focused, sharper. 12/1/21: A bit softer, perhaps, than the last bottle with a slight but not unpleasant sour taste at first. Otherwise very nice, drank well. Given the choice, I'd take the blanc de noirs above this by a bit, tho.

Acidity and yeast dominate the palate. Fruit appears as the wine warms. Tasted blind, I would have guessed Champagne. Probably that was the winemakers intent. Frankly, I enjoyed the Gruet brut from New Mexico more. Perhaps this just needed more time.. Readers, please take my comments on bubbly with a grain of salt!

This is becoming a staple of our home. Honestly for under $40, this is the best B2B on the market. Consistent, fresh, crisp...unlike that other Napa B2B that rhymes with NUMB, this one is the same every single year and a much better quality.
Its all in there. Citrus overtones, green apples, pears, a hint of peach....light-med bodied, and can taste a little French minerality which is refreshing from Napa. For a mass produced sparling, it has a little depth. It aint quite Ruinart but it also aint $100 plus.
