I have been fortunate to have experienced this wine for over 30 years with continued enjoyment. The mark of a good Chateau is producing consistently pleasing wines & this Chateau meets that goal exceptionally well. This wine opens with an impressive nose of white flowers w/soft nectarine aroma. Flavor of soft muted lemon peel, light apricots and soft peaches. Soft balanced lingering finish. A great compliment to Tomme Noire des Pyrenees cheese plate & Chicken al Limone.

Honeysuckle, grapefruits, lemon, green apples, spice and white peaches come through with ease in the perfume. On the palate, the wine is zesty, citrusy, brisk and racy with ranges, pineapples, sea salt, and crushed stones that linger in the finish. Drink from 2024-2034.

Helles Gelb. Feinduftig, mineralisch, kühler Kamin, Gräser, Zitrusfrüchte. Knackiger Gaumen, sehr gut strukturiert, ungemein frisch und leichtfüssig, dennoch mit Konzentration, die Frucht wirkt knackig, die Säure belebt, viel Trinkfluss und Rasse hier. Salines, würziges Finish. Ab sofort bis 2035. (Januar 2024)

Helles Gelb. Die Nase ist feinduftig und leicht rauchig, florale Töne, Zitrusfrüchte, Kräuter. Im Gaumen gut strukturiert, saftig, frisch, die Frucht ist knackig, die Säure top, das hat Rasse und Zug, endet angenehm langanhaltend und mit feiner Würze. Sehr elegant dieses Jahr. 2023-2036 (Verkostet im November 2023 in Zürich bei UGCB)

One of the most immediately delicious Carbonnieux I can recall in years, very brightly aromatic and forward, really showing its (imo) Sauv element (with some lime that's really probably the semillon). There's mid-palate concentration, and a good clean, confident finish, this feels all very together and energetic.

Tasted at UGC Tasting in London 8/11/23. 67% SB, 33% Sem. Normally a fan, notably the 2020, but this, like several other 2021 dry whites did not have a clean finish.

Shy on opening. Lasted a week in a fridge. Much better in couple of days. Fresh and lean. Paired with grilled Korean barbeque marinated chicken but the match in heaven was with white stilton with apricots. This wine stays as my favorite everyday Bordeaux white at "normal" price.

Very zesty and balanced Carbonnieux, mineral, good length, on apple, peaches and basil notes. Fantastic poise, linearity and cleanness. Superbe white Bordeaux, no thickness or heady fruits, elegant and structured. Will improve over the coming years.
