Clear light gold. Lovely unmistakably Chardonnay nose, a bit of reduction, lemon, pear and wet rock. Delicious dry lemon, orchard fruit and mineral flavours, a touch of ripeness on the dry stony finish.
Delicious, and more like the 19, than the 20.

Upon opening fragrant nose of big apricots & honeydew melon. Round legs w/flavor of soft Meyer lemon & ripe melon. Soft oak light acidic finish. Exceptional w/Grilled peppered Tuna. This is a consistently excellent wine.

Beautiful Chardonnay from Oregon. As the back of the bottle says French soul…Oregon soil this has some definite burgundy attributes. Banana, cream, almond and pineapple on the nose. Wet rocks, flint, tropical fruit, toasty oak, vanilla on the palate. Hopefully can find a few more bottles. 93 points.

WS's bottle. Clean and tasty with citrus but almost blowsy compared to what I expect from an Arthur or other recent reports here. It did not remind one of white Burgundy, which Arthurs usually do. Perhaps there were storage issues earlier in its life.

Staggeringly good Chardonnay in all aspects. Examples like this are why I keep trying everything, even if I haven't had much luck with it before. This is the best Chardonnay I've had. Smooth, rich, but not overly buttery (apparently it's half-steel, half-oak). Great, long finish.

Featured at a Comparative Tasting at Dom. Drouhin Oregon versus the 2020 Dom. Drouhin Pernand-Vergelesses Blanc. Aged for 10 months in 50% steel and 50% French oak (50% of that was new.) 50% Malolactic. 13.9% ABV. Bright medium lemon yellow color. Nose has lemon curd and wet stones. Tart on the palate with medium+ to high acidity. Lots of minerals and wet stones on the palate with lemon curd and lime zest. A bit short on the finish. Slightly more fruit than the Pernand-Vergelesses but not perceptibly better or worse. Still rather youthful… not quite ready to shine?

Return to Willamette; 7/2/2023-7/8/2023 (Portland & Willamette): Not my grape but this is an easier version to me than some others have been. Bright and a bit more fruity. More like pear and apricot. Stone fruit. Nothing really jumps out and I can tell if I was a chard person this wouldn’t have been my favorite.

Balanced from the first sip, good fruit, touch of oak, good acid, good stuff, drank with fish stew, shrimp, monkfish, scallops, and clams, will drink again.

Poured through Aerator. Immediately accessible. Light & airy. Spicy with apple. Nice by itself pre-dinner though likely would have been nice with the pork tenderloin if we had been able to slow down : )

I'm still working my way through an assortment of single btls of domestic Chardonnay to replace my Arnot Roberts Chards which took a huge jump in price from mid $30s locally to $60+ recently. This is definitely a more classic style of Chardonnay with a sense of minerality & fairly buoyant for something domestic. Still not sure its at the level of the Arnot Chards. Maybe in a year or 2 I'll forget I regularly bought and enjoyed Arnot Roberts for less than $40:). The replacement search for another US made wine continues.

Softer on the palate than I expected. Tart apple and lemon on the finish but the high point is the creamy texture, stone fruit and touch of honey on the palate.

Dominant woody, vanilla and buttery aromas from oak and malolactic fermentation. Flavors were similar. The acidity was low and the body was M+.

Taste mellons, agrume, little salt mid palate, balanced oak.
