Golden yellow with lots of tiny bubbles. Smelled yeast, citrus and a nuttiness. Very round in the mouth with tastes of biscuits, almonds and lemons. Good @Blackfish.

Medium gold, steady and persistent mousse. Profound biscuit, peanut butter, toffee, and toast bouquet. The palate has bold, nutty flavors complimented by some lychee, mango, and sourdough with sprightly acidity and a fine balance of dryness. Long finish and although not completely seamless, darn close. 5+13+16+8 = 92

Nose: A little bit of a stinky nose, almost pepper and earth. Taste: Yeast and almost a meat note on the approach, some butter, transitioning to some pepper and like an almond note on the midpalate. Slight lemon on the finish. Mouthfeel is nice and bubbles are somewhat smaller/subtle. Complex, decent acid, very dry. Needs a food pairing.

Bill's Monthly Lunch - April 2010 (Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind – medium straw in colour. On the nose yeasty notes with loads of green apple and doughy notes on the palate. Crisp mouth feel with a good amount of acidity. Nice tartness. As it sat in the glass it seemed to gain complexity. Long finish, medium body and very dry. I liked this a lot and would have guessed Champagne for sure. Drink or hold. Excellent.

MCRI (Conference room): Heavier style of course from the the Noir, this has some richness. Usually I prefer this, but this didn't seem as focused as the Blanc de Blancs.

Gold tinted yellow color. Yeasty nose of milk chocolate and white cherry. Full bodied palate of ripe sweet cherry, kiwi, and lime. Excellent length. Refreshing acidity. Lively effervescence. Really liked it today.

This is a very good bottle of dry Champ. Lively acid on a dry body with a slightly sweet finish. Drink now or over 3-5 years. Enjoyable and a QPR. Recommended...AMM

A beautiful Champagne-style sparkler. Eggnog, sourdough toast and some fruitiness on the nose, with a lovely fresh, clean, mouthwatering palate and a good finish. Really fantastic.

Crown Fall 08 Upscale Tasting (Boca Raton, FL): Riper and fuller fruit than the the Blanc du Blanc, but still a little sour. No pinkness from the pinot skins nor the extra depth and body I would expect as they must not keep the skins in contact for any appreciable time.

Outstanding wine. Nose was subtle with hits of flowers and citrus. On the pallet is where it excelled, filled the mouth with bright clean berry and just enough citrus to keep it clean. Moderate finish.

Nose has fresh fruit - - strawberries, cherries and a bit of light spice (ginger?). This is a great bottle of wine, nice balance of light-sweet fruit and acidity with a decent finish.
Day 2 this is still showing strong. Nice bubbles, fruit on the nose and palate is still present, perhaps a bit more acidity on the back palate and finish but still very nice.

Champagne Tasting (Sal's Beverage World, Elmhurst): Apple notes with an underlying dirtiness that was quite appealing. Apple, biscuit and grapefruit flavors. $24.99.

93. Ridiculously good...the acids have had enough time to mellow out and make for a more rounded taste profile.

We didn't think this was much special. I prefer the de Blancs. This was an easy drinkers that showed a pleasant sweetness and a softer mouthfeel. QPR?
