Excellent. 91-90...

A nice full wine but not quite in the excellent category. Though very close! Poured a bit darker than I was expecting with aromas of apple, some hard mineral, and lemon. Similar flavors with medium body and substantial acidity. Held up well to grilled lobster tails and fresh grilled corn.

Magnifique tenue dans le temps. À la fois long et large. Minéral. Fruité. Touche épicée. Encore tendu. Aucune trace d'oxydation. Superbe au nez. Superbe en bouche. Du grand Saint-Aubin. À revoir en 2018 pour ses 10 ans.

Drank alongside a 2010 Pernot Puligny Garenne and this surprisingly held its own in cut and class. Slightly richer and less concentrated (the Pernot was a dense, delciious beast) but for St. Aubin...fantastic balance and QPR.

Excellent. 89-90

Mango, pineapple, honey, and banana nut bread notes are balanced out beautifully by awesome acidity. Drinking this by itself is somewhat possible, but drinking alongside food is a much better option due to the level of acidity. Flinty notes in this add to the complexity. 13.5% alc.

Turning a little gold, time to drink...and enjoy. Nose is now very herbal, almost hay/silage but the palate zaps you with a zesty zing and then stays there until the slightly (but not too much) oaked finish. Really excellent now at this price, but get on with it!

Aromas of citrus and some orchard fruit with white flowers over a bed of minerality and some baking spice and grilled bread qualities from oak. Will be better with a little more time to let the oak integrate, but not too bad today. High-toned orchard fruit and floral notes with good acidity to keep it fairly balanced. I feel like I am getting more and more into higher elevation White Burgundy. It's nice to be able to drink something at this stage that is showing nicely without having to shell out more for something like a Puligny or Chassagne that needs more time and then only to find it premoxed.

As others have observed this is made in a very accessible 'easy to enjoy' style. Rich, but not overripe, but probably now time to drink up.
