12/26/2021 3:35:00 PM - Great to friend you, I am what I like to call a ‘recovering triathlete.’ Still an avid cyclist and runner but mostly in my basement these days. Cheers!

8/28/2021 4:41:00 AM - I have driven over the Ben Franklin bridge several times, including to taste Virginia wines there in Philadelphia. I have posted a few Bordeaux notes including 2 from the 1844 era. You have interesting TN. I noticed that you enjoy St. Julien as I do. Fortunate to visit their twice.

8/8/2021 8:05:00 PM - Hi folks, nice to meet you all. I'm new to cellar tracker and still not familiar with all its functions - but I enjoy reading your notes and the banter about wine. I didnt realise you could see my cellar (and I yours), so I'm sure we'll have fun comparing notes I havent finished keying in all the wines yet, started with the easy ones which are still in their OWC. the tough and boring part is inventorying what is in my wine chillers and on the shelves of my cellar (converted bedroom)

8/8/2021 6:38:00 AM - Nice to see another midwesterner here, Jason. I grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa which is where my parents live. I'll be visiting them again soon and we always drink some really old Bordeaux when we visit. Will let you know what I taste there next and if I'll keep you in mind if I get to Twin Cities. Meanwhile, let me know if you'll be in the Philly area as well.

8/8/2021 6:01:00 AM - Hi Chris....thanks for the note! Doctor/Professor and bike racing almost seems like an oxymoron! Must be nice to get together with dad! You have quite a collection of Bordeaux I am envious! If you ever make it out to the Twin Cities in MN, let me know! Cheers, Jason

3/28/2021 8:31:00 AM - Mark1npt Thanks for your message. I love St. Julien and I want to go to Chateau Beychevelle. I have never been to Bordeaux and we have plans to go to Bordeaux for the Tour de France final time trial which ends in St. Emilion this year. Also a stop in Languedoc and Pyrenees. Did Southern Rhone a few years ago and it was awesome. Let's hope the border and the chateaus are open. Enjoyed reading some of your tasting notes and it looks like I can learn a lot about California wine from you. I did visit Napa once and want to do that again. Chris

3/28/2021 5:40:00 AM - Welcome aboard, Tri.....physical therapist here in Naples in private practice. Seems we both like a bit of St. Julien! Carol and I enjoyed some wonderful times there back in '17. As Hurricane Irma was hitting Naples we were holed up in a very nice room at Chateau Beychevelle. A fantastic place, we almost didn't care what happened to our home back here! Cheers...Mark
