Fy flate! Luftet i seks timer var eneste hint. Tydelige sentralburgundmsarkører. Som en grill full av sitroner. Litt stålaktig kalk. Enormt flott kons, helt fjellbekk. Så rent, og så intenst. Enorm lengde! 96

Intense apples and citrus. Lots of salinity behind the acidity and the abundant fruit. This has a spherical and tannic mouthfeel and is a joy to drink. My only reservation right now is the fragrant oak, which, even at 20%, is a strong contributor to the flavor profile at first pour. On day two, the oak is less noticeable, and the delicious fruit shines. Patience required.

2020(ish) vintage white Burgundy tasting (Caro's): Only 20% new wood. A relatively late harvest, but not tasting the ripeness at all. Bouquet was a bit tight, even after 1.5 hours I got not much clarity out of it. Palate: wow, incredibly light, but with very concentrated fruit and floral notes. High acidity, with a finish lasting minutes. My first time trying Grand Cru Burgundy, and I've never experienced such a delicate wine that has so much concentration and character.
This was just providing more and more every time I went back to it, wish I could have spent a few hours with it. Clearly the best wine of the night for me, not that I really understood it. But that is what the beauty of this wine is!!

Decanted for 30 mins and last for 2+ hrs. Lime, citrus and oak. Patience needed for another 5-7 yrs.

Grandes Maisons Grands Crus - Grands Jours de Bourgogne 2024 (Santenay): After the red Corton a great follow-up with this white. Expressive nose of lemon with mint and greens. Complex and balanced. Very good showing of the Bouchard wines indeed.
