This wine was medium-bodied with medium tannins. It was fairly light for my palate, I prefer more dense wines. Overall the fruit was well balanced with some wild cherries, spice and currants. Overall a good Grand Selezione, however, there are other options for this price point.

A lot to love here. Medium light red. Very elegant nose, floral red cherry fruit, orange peel, some earthiness but more floral than earthy. Dry delicious fresh flavours and a mid weight finish.
Not as bold as the Felsina wines in 2019 but if you like elegant and approachable this is great.

tasted @Vancouver International Wine Festival 2023: Another of the highlights tonight. Great acidity here, very mineral, super elegant texture and tannins, fine red and black berry fruit. So clean, fresh and mouthwatering. Love it. This is beautiful now but will likely get even better with a bit of age. - 92+ points

This wine is a huge promise for the future - Do NOT open these bottles now. I had a 10 year old bottle last year. It was terrific!! 94+
