Evolving, and ready to drink. Dense, meaty nose of black fruit & subtle earth. Purple-black core, fading to lightly bricked rim. Sound balance of acid, fruit, tannin.

Harmonious, rich fruit that really delivers without feeling in any way overblown - quality shines through. Last bottle but certainly worth the wait - a treat! Drank alongside the 2012 - also fabulous

At Boston Wine & Poker, Needham, Mass.: Tasted blind. Very dark. Sweet, plummy fruit, almost like a dry port. Could easily be served as dessert wine.

Very rich and concentrated, but this relies on its big ripe fruit above & beyond anything else that might add further interest.

not for the faint of heart but such pure dark red fruit. Nicely resolved tannins. Still dark colour, still primary fruit. Will this ever "mature"?
