I had this with Marin French Breakfast Brie aka magic cheese. This wine was oaky/buttery with a round mouthfeel. Apple and honeydew melon notes with a balanced acidity to it. Overall a nice wine. Maybe not the best QPR for me since I do prefer a Riesling and usually that is quite a bit cheaper.

Fresh with lots of fruit, herbal tones, some honey. Rich, good length, superb acidity. young, but drinking very well now.

Very youthful, light straw color. The wood has fully integrated and this is now a really lovely balance of lightness and richness. Lots of herbs on the nose; grapefruit peel attack and a long bitter-melon finish. I recall this being much heavier in its youth, but time has made it bright and lively. No hurry: this is delicious now but could certainly hold and possibly develop for years.

Five (5) years since last visit. Decanted three (3) hours. Concur with "PPMM's" observations. Presents a lighter version than prior experience as oak has subsided significantly. Distinct herbal aroma is accompanied with muted aromas of lemon, apricot, pineapple, coconut & vanilla. Rounded with honeyed texture on the palate; ripe fruit is measured against lively acidity that leads to long satisfying finish. Drinking beautifully now and should do so for the foreseeable future.

I wouldn’t guess 12 years of age. If I had to pick a difference, just barely showing a little bit of a brown mushroom and honey note. Otherwise, as exciting and young as the 2020 in a side-by-side. Outstanding.
