Un beau Bandol bien à point! Il émane une grande finesse, avec des fruits noirs chauds, quelques épices, l’étable, et une grande fraicheur. Finale de belle longueur, tout en légèreté! Très bien.

Stood up for 48 hours. 3 hour decant and then consumed over 3-4 hours. Not a lot of sediment. A little disappointing. Nose was muted and tasted too tart, overpowering the red fruit notes. Paled in comparison to a vibrant, delightful 2019 Tempier a couple of years back. Have two more bottles and will stash away for a long time in the hope that this wine is going through a dumb phase or that I just experienced some bottle variation.
Very interesting to read the tasting notes . This bottle is very open brightly fruited but with depth and for about the first time ever makes me appreciate why Lulu Peyraud liked to serve it youngish and cool .

Completely shut down since our last tasting almost two years ago. We found this muted and almost impenetrable even after 3+ hours in the decanter. Was better with food. Good structure so should be more accessible after this shut-down phase. Drink 2025-2032. Technical score: 91. Enjoyment score: 89.

Dark and brooding on the nose. Smoky, dried herbs wrapped around a core of strawberry and blackberry. Hints of leather and earth.
Structured and concentrated on the palate with a dusting of spice. Enough acidity to keep everything fresh. Savoury finish.
Needs air if drinking now.
