Heavy-fruited but broad aromas of blueberry and a spicy quality. Tannins and acidity are completely subjugated by the fruit; seems very young, but it's a 2002! 89-90

My first ever bottle from this producer! 750ml stood for weeks, popped, poured and savored over an hour with my gal. Really lovely balance, with a wonderfully charming, simple, green streak of funk throughout! I suspect that is the Pac NW Cab Franc talking! Lovely, relatively simple, pleasing wine. Seemingly no rush to pop these.

43% CS, 29% CF, 23% merlot, 5% PV. Needed an hour in a decanter to fully open up, but once it did, the wine exposed layers of beautiful flavors that all play together well. Tobacco, huckleberry, currant notes prevail. Just an amazing wine with food, went perfectly with grilled bison strips. Bravo Ben!
