  No formal note, a very brief decant on this which probably held back its expression, still a very nice blend though the QPR is a little steep.

  cherry fruit and fine dusty tannins after another 2 hours in glass but was clearly bested by the 2010 but was more ready than the 2011 Andrew Will Ciel alongside it which had burly tannins; this is likely a better fit at the table with food than naked with its peers

  Really well made. Well structured but the fruit is soft and luscious. Would like to have seen a little more fruit on this one,
  But will check other vintages. In general really like this producers bottles.

As the evening wore on, the wine seemed to mellow a bit, and show more fruitiness, so it was really pleasant to drink, but tannins still noticeable. Hopefully, that will mellow over time.
