Had a it with a group of friends an the consensus was that this is drinking quite younger than 34 years old. Deep gold in color, nose of honey, lilacs and chamomile. Sweet, medium bodied, high acidity and amazing length. Lovely bottle.

Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of lychee, caramel, guava and creme brulee. Flavors of lychee, simple syrup and lemon bars. Medium to bright acidity, full bodied. Drink or hold.

Wonderful way to finish off a cold night with delicious wines and game-based stroganoff.
Color/App: medium-deep gold (NO amber for this bottle) with very good viscosity. Classic bouquet of honey, peach, quince. Palate is reasonably intense for a Chenin with peach/apricot, honey again and (just) a touch of petrol. I think this has great acidity and a long, long finish so I'm thinking this bottle has been well stored vs. many of those out there (I once got a cooked case of the '91 of this wine from one importer). Still time in hand, still quite sweet and decadent, so still a fabulous dessert wine for me . . . (though not Sauternes!).

Weekend Chez K's; 7/30/2020-8/1/2020: Paired with spicy shrimp; beautiful golden amber color with a nose of rich honeyed stone fruits, floral notes, dried sweet hay, a hint of chalkiness, beeswax, and lanolin. The palate was mature, but still plenty energetic; rich and sweet, yet still fresh. A treat to taste. Would like to explore this wine further.

The bottle had help up wine with a near perfect cork. I kept wishing for a little more sweetnesses or more acidity. It seemed too middle of the road to my palate.
