End of the night bottles at Maison Dakota. Pop and poured. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is initially clear, murky towards end of bottle. Medium intensity, garnet colour. Legs. Nose is dirty, medium+ intensity, with aromas of brett, barnyard, meat, soy sauce, tea leaves, leather. Developed. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol (12%), integrated high tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dirty earth, tea leaves, leaf-litter, leathery meat, spice, bits of lingering fruits - dark red cherries, black cherries, blackberries. Fruits faded after few hours. Long finish still present. Very good quality. Feels like a mature claret with an animal edge. Good stuff. I love brett, and brett loves me. Old Bandol does it for me. Drink up. Fruits at end of life. Should be 95% Mourvèdre and 5% Grenache.

Just wonderful mature, perfectly balanced Mourvèdre in a Bordeaux-like setting, from a a magnum at Racine's. Beautiful dark crimson color, a nose of mushroom but with that old Bordeaux barn scent and a full finish. Definitely losing gutsy angles but is like mature claret.

Deep red, On day 2 the nose is amazing: drak fruit and some floral tones. The tongue is less intersting: very tanic and a herbous flavors
