Now a bit turned, so extra funky, but retains some of the original flowers and honey, minerality, and oak, with a hint of citrus and tropical. Drink now or never.

Bordeaux 2012 (By SS in the Ertepeller.): Some minerals and vanilla in the bouquet. On the palate not very outspoken, some oak, citrus and good acidity, but overall a bit disappointing.

Served 2 magnums and 2 single bottles at our daughter’s rehearsal dinner. We knew we were taking a risk with 10-year-old white wine, but we needn’t have worried. Antique gold in color, with a slight greenish tinge. On the nose, still full with white flowers, honey and lemon, and a nice whiff of minerality in the background. On the palate, also rather full-bodied, with good acidity to round out the oak and slate. A couple of our guests commented they’d never had an aged white wine and really enjoyed it. A delightful surprise and a delicious pairing with fresh trout.

Assez ample et gras.
Des pamplemousses, des amandes, des agrumes
et du miel avec une pointe florale.
Pas long mais fort jolie.
