Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Popped and poured this wine was just very tertiary and rusty with a touch of barnyard. On the palate very tertiary as well with a firm amount of acidity and some red currants at best. During the evening some dried currants and rose hips appeared in the bouquet. Also on the palate the taste became more complex. Still tertiary and past its prime, but still enjoyable. In this stage I don't score the wine, but in fact during the evening the wine evolved from ok and just drinkable, to interesting and enjoyable.
