dense and purple, no bricking. blueberry and blackberry nose with faint herb. a vein of lead and black rock is present. full bodied with good enough acidity to keep it lifted. plenty of ripe dark berry flavors and some root beer. fine sandy tannins on the back. finishes dry and long. end of my bottles but this has another 5-10 years in it.

Kutch Grand Tasting Round 1; 4/25/2022-5/3/2022 (FMIII in the OC): Smells northern Rhone which is a great start. Cured meat. Dark blackberry and some blueberry. Mineral textures on palate. Very nice.

Kutch Retrospective Sonoma County Chardonnay/Sonoma Cost Pinot Noir; 4/30/2022-5/1/2022 (FMII’s in San Juan Capistrano): My last 2010. Man do these keep getting getter or what? Loads of blueberry, red meat and bacon. Lots of bacon. Palate is still fresh and alive with the stem inclusion adding to the lift. Concentrated dark fruit, wild game and a chalky finish. Easy 5-10 years remaining on this wine. Well done Paul!

Palate tart acidity. Some tannin. Raspberries. A mineral savory note. Still young and vibrant
