A Visit to Tawse Winery (Tawse Winery): A solidly built and structured ringer for a White Burg. Nose of mineral, wet stone, lemon, pear, kisses of high-quality french oak via toasted nuts and vanilla. Palate isn't quite as long as I had hoped but features plenty of mineral and acid. Would fit in well with a lineup of high quality village white burgs. Doesn't give in to overripeness or over oaking. No tropical notes or butterscotch at all.

Bold mineral and green apple nose. Lemon curd and salted butter, finishing with a faint stony impression. Coulda been Meursault. Right up my alley, love it.

Smells like a Canadian Orchard, bright apple blossoms mixed with a hint of lime , on the palate fantastic acidity, that has bright fruit that is begging for another sip, great texture, a med body, high acid, med+ intensity, long finish, that lingers ever so gently
Conc: Solid Wine would like ot have some more in my cellar

Tart citrus with saliva-generating acidity. Lemons, minerals. Little oak showing. Almost Chablis-like. An excellent wine that's still very young.

Super direct, crisp, tangy, and taut, but with a little oak, too, and lemons, and a meursault-like quality, but high-tension, refined meursault.
