I feel that my experience will be a bit skewed given the nature of my relationship with champagne. This being my first will hopefully not distort my expectation of future champagne, I have come to understand that is a way to diminish experience and put a cloud over new glasses.
With that being said let’s get to brass tax. An incredible bottle; a mix of white cherry, subtle prickly pear, and lilies on the initial taste. Low-med acid w tannins that dance on your palate. A wonderful start or finish to any meal, versatile.
Cheers.

Amazing as with all Bouchard. So much life in these, evolves constantly in the glass over hours. Floral, white fruits, wonderful acidity. A great chablis with bubbles….

Wow, this was utterly fantastic. Loved by all and incredibly delicious.
Gorgeous nose of rice krispies and biscuit, crisp white stone fruit, minerals, and a hint of flowers. Lovely nose, but it was even more exciting to drink. Precise, yet giving, combining depth and elegance. Clearly has great aging potential with its structure and acidity. Such a great bottle.

I love this wine. It’s just so marvelous! Had tonight with caviar and it matched perfectly. One of my favorite champagnes. As good as the 2002 Salon. No doubt. Precise and elegant. A very special Blanc to Blanc. Very special. So hard to find, but so worth it. If you know this wine, please, for us, don’t tell anyone about it. Please.

I like all of the 2014 Bouchard Champagne. This was also good. It was a little more approachable than the Presle, with similar pleasing crisp fruit and mineral impressions. It's good, not great, and quite expensive. With Bouchard, I always wonder, sometimes with trepidation, what I'm going to get with each cork pop.
