  Classic old-school BV but way too young. Med. body, good earth tones, nice dark fruits, tobacco, good grip.

  Beautifully fragrant nose. Palate is driven by red fruit but doesn’t quite match the strength of the nose. Some unresolved tannins that should integrate over the next 5 years or so. I’ll check back in then. I liked it but the critic scores are quite inflated.

  Beautiful wine to pour and sniff. On the palate there's black cherry fruit with oak and creme de cassis notes, power is here but not a heavy wine. Tastes like old school Napa as you'd expect. Balance will get better I think in a few years.

  Was good out of the bottle but needed an hour decant till it was really singing. Dark fruits and firm tannin, loved it.
