From another 375 ml bottle, this one was much more tired than the bottle opened a few months ago, and was without merit in glass. A decade past its peak in this format.

From 375 recently purchased as part of an auction mixed lot. As expected, getting tired but still showing more than lingering fruit. I wasn't thrilled with this wine when younger/ fresher, but it's still holding in there.

Brick red with perhaps a hint of amber. The wine has matured into a balanced, lovely Pinot Noir with a strikingly plush, soft palate that seems almost silky. The nose here is a bit muted but I’m finding cranberry, wax and hints of spice cake. Tart, with a long and very mineral dominated finish. A bit hot, which makes sense: the wine clocks in at 14.5%. But it isn’t at all jammy or sloppy and holds the alcohol pretty well.

Another mostly tired 375 ml bottle, still showing good weight, so used in my Bolognese sauce.

Straight forward, not very complex. Starting to fade.
