Man. This has not moved at all from how it was at release. Monolithic with just purple fruit smacking you in the face. The fruit is sweet and the texture is fine but these need a bunch of years to show some more interesting things.
With about two hours of decanting, we enjoyed the balance of fruit purity and acidity under sunny skies. It is certainly no dainty Aussie Shiraz, but it doesn't club you over the head senseless, either. Tannins have resolved after decanting, so it's ready to drink.
