Pleasant, and on the austere end of Rosé. Good with food; not particularly a stand-out, but well-made. Likely not a rebuy, but I so seldom drink Rosé that that qualification carries little weight. FWIW, my all-time favorite Rosé remains the offering by L'Aventure (though it's been some years since I've had any.)

2013 vintage, recent purchase on sale at Astor. Hard not to say sherry like. On top of the sherry you have raspberry and bazooka gum on the nose but also smells like the ocean a bit. Palette opens up with a ephemeral bit of candied fruit bomb that quickly leads to intense honeyed black licorice and tonic, evolves into a decaying tonka bean finish. Unctuous mouthfeel. Extremely long finish and a journey with every sip.

Very well structured rose, deep orange in color. Cherries, red currants, and hints of citrus and minerals in the nose and flavor. Well balanced and a very pleasant finish. Paired well as the opening wine with our charcuterie plate.

My first bottle of this. Outstanding Rose. Orange in color, which was a surprise, but a great "balance" in both nose and palate. Light, but interesting fruit and mineral combination - but some pepper as well. Nice length and finish. I like the Vinous reference to Chablis, but with some spice. Really nice and in the moment I think the most enjoyable Rose I have had to date. A
