Best white of the year until now! What a wine! Quintessential Chablis with wet stone, crushed rock, various shades of lemon, saline, oysters, flint, firestone. High acidity and a very long, lingering finish
At 14 years fresh as a daisy. Under Diam 10

France Planning Dinner & Burgs (Bucheron, MPls): Pale green-gold color. Drank a glass over an hour. This was riveting; intense nose, steely, and precise. The nose explodes fromt he glass in a burst of citrus, stelly minerality, lemon blossom, and green apple. The palate is focused and mineral driven with a great streak of acid and citrus fruit with those green orchard fruit underotnes; focused and elegant this shows immense class and presence. Long, long, long. Loved it.

Pale greenish yellow color. On the palate iodine, citrus, white pepper. It has an enormous length. A short decant is beneficial as usual with Fèvre wines, due to the DIAM corks that are pretty hermetic. This wine can go on for long years.

An easy entry on a gentler Les Clos that, while by no means an acid bomb, carries its lemon and limestone on a lighter weight frame for a Grand Cru, given some presence by a not quite creamy creaminess. (Yeah, I'm a real word smith!). This was lovely and had some orchard fruit in the background, a finish with the sea on it, and a nice finesse.
