Note: I use a scale on which 85 represents a very good wine.
Meaningfully better than the last bottle I had almost two years ago. This was well-balanced, showed no signs of oxidation. The flavors were a bit muted, but all was well.

Not nearly as good as the last bottle. A little flabby, too oxidized for me (and I like a little oxidization). Could be bottle variation -- the last was 2 years ago -- or maybe it is over the hill. Regardless, I will be drinking the next one sooner rather than later.

Evidently well stored bottle, medium shimmering gold color, with excellent purity. Opens aromatically with wet stone and white spring flowers. Warms in glass to reveal dried apricot/tangerine/honey aromas. Stoney but modestly rich, satisfying palate of ripe, tho not lush, white peach and a little dried apricot. Some hazelnut aromas and flavors emerge later. Not an overrich expression of Marsanne, quite fresh for it's age but quite satisfying too. Not a hint of oxidation or old age. This particular bottle would be good for another 3-4 years, easily.

I like oldcorke's 11/27/12 comments. The wine is a nice example of a white Rhone. Finished gently, but very pleasantly.
