Imbibed in Provence. Deep robe, narrow rim. Leather, dark red and black fruits, graphite on nose and palate. Wonderfully St Julien, elegant with refined ripe tannins, textured and balanced acidity and fruits. Full bodied, with a satisfyingly long finish.
Pnp, deep garnet on color., yield a very rich nose of leather, cedar wood, black fruit and a subtle floral note. This is a great St Julien right to the textbook. Mid palate also give some pencil shaving aroma, good acidity although the tannin is still slightly grippy, but should soften with airing. This wine is entering its drinking window, simply lovely and underrated.
